Quinta "As duas oliveiras"
São Luís
The little village São Luís is located in the Providence Baixo Alentejo between Cercal and Odemira on the N120-road Lisbon-Algarve, about a 2 hours drive from the airport of Lisbon as well as the airport of Faro and only 15 min. away from the coast. Our house is located at the edge of the town and is very easy to reach. Between São Luís and the coast lies the beautiful nature reserve Parque Natural Sudoest Alentejano Costa Vicentina, a perfect place for quiet nature-walks. The nearest beach-town is Vila Nova de Milfontes, mainly occupied with portuguese tourists, where you can find lots of lovely restaurants. It has only some hotels and campsites. Here the river Mira, the cleanest river of Europe, ends in the Atlantic Ocean. Here you'll find beautiful beaches, on the river-shore as well as on the Ocean-shore. Perfect environment for who likes hiking, horsebackriding, surfing, etc.

Quinta "As duas oliveiras"
We have built our house "As duas oliveiras" in 2006. We've choosen this name because of the two olive-trees at the entrance. Our terrain covers 0,8ha and we have a variety of animals; dogs, cats, chicken, ducks, pigs and a rabbit. You have to be a real animal-lover, because our cats and dogs will, out of curiosity, visit you every now and then...
On site is a swimming-pool (7 x 3,5m), a big trampoline and on the top of the hill is a tree-house made by our sons (11 and 15 years old). Our terrain is about a 5 minute walk from the nearest shops in town. The roads are in good condition.

Our guesthouse "Oliva"
We've build our guesthouse (35m²) at the end of 2007 and it excist of a livingroom with a small kitchen (with refrigerator, gas-cooker and microwave-oven), one bedroom (with one double bed 1.40 x 2.00) and a bathroom with toilet, wash-stand and shower. There is a t.v. with satellite aanwezig, which receives a variety of foreign stations and BVN (dutch station). The livingroom also holds a stove, a diningtable with chairs, a sitetable and a (sleeping)couch (suitable for two persons). A child's cot is available if necessary. In front of the cottage is a large terras (4 x 7m) of which half is covered by a roof. Pets are welcome. |

The price for every extra night is (price per week : 7) plus 5% extra charge.
In the months June, July and August the minimum stay is a week.

Included is : gas, water and electicity, 1x per week clean linen and towels, use of washingmachine, use of swimmingpool, use of child's cot.
Not included is: final cleaning (30,-) and extra persons (from 25,- p.w./p.p.).
We also have the availability of a 2/3p. tent, which you can use for 25,- p.w. extra (this is incl. a 2p. air matttress and bed-linen), of course only in combination with the rent of "Oliva". |
For reservation we ask a downpayment of 100,- for every booked week. The remaining amount, incl. the 30,- for the final cleaning, is due upon arrivel. In case of cancellation less then 8 weeks upon arrival, there will be no refund of the downpayment. The guesthouse is available on the day of arrivel from 14.00 hours and is expected to be evacuated at 10.00 on the day of departure.
