São Luís
The little village São Luís is located in the Providence Baixo Alentejo between Cercal and Odemira on the N120-road Lisbon-Algarve, about a 2 hours drive from the airport of Lisbon as well as the airport of Faro and only 15 min. away from the coast. Our house is located at the edge of the town and is very easy to reach. Between São Luís and the coast lies the beautiful nature reserve Parque Natural Sudoest Alentejano Costa Vicentina, a perfect place for quiet nature-walks. The nearest beach-town is Vila Nova de Milfontes, mainly occupied with portuguese tourists, where you can find lots of lovely restaurants. It has only some hotels and campsites. Here the river Mira, the cleanest river of Europe, ends in the Atlantic Ocean. Here you'll find beautiful beaches, on the river-shore as well as on the Ocean-shore.
Quinta Cunte
Our house "Quinta Cunte" is a renovated typical alentejo ruïns. It was finished in 1995 and consist of 2 buildings (a main building and a guesthouse) with a privatpool of appr. 14 x 5m. During the months we are abroad, we would like to let our guesthouse. During this time the entire property and swimmingpool are available for the tenants and our daughter, who live about 2 km away, will be available for any necessary assistence. The guesthouse is approx. 60m² and is fit for 4-5 persons. It is well situated to the South, has its own terrace and a nice view to the pool and surrounding hills. The ground in front of the house is 12.750m² wide and completely surrounded by a wall and plants. About 5.000m² of this ground is cultivated and holds a wide variety of subtropic trees and bushes. The grown fig-tree, pine-trees and palms offer plenty of shade.
The guesthouse
The guesthouse consists of a livingroom, 2 bedrooms, an open kitchen with a variety of equipment, such as a dishwasher and microwave-oven and a bathroom with toilet, wash-stand and shower. There is a t.v. with satellite, which receives a variety of foreign stations and BVN (dutch station). The livingroom also holds a stove, a marble diningtable with chairs, a natural stone sitetable and a (sleeping)couch (suitable for one person). Both bedrooms are furnished with 2 one-person beds with linnen. A child's cot is available if necessary.

Prices (in euro's) 2008
The rent for August and September is 525,- and for October 450,- per week.
Rent is including:
- gas, water and electricity
- 1x per week clean linnen and towels
- use of the swimmingpool
- use of the child's cot
- maximum of 4 persons
Not included is:

final cleaning (50,-)
- extra persons (25,- p.p./p.w.)
For reservation we ask a downpayment of 100,- for every booked week. The remaining amount, incl. the 50,- for the final cleaning, is due upon arrivel. In case of cancellation there will be no refund of the downpayment. The guesthouse is available on the day of arrivel from 14.00 hours and is expected to be evacuated at 10.00 on the day of departure.
